Shetland Sheepdog - Sheltie woke in our home at first time as substitution for Collie. When I was young girl, I had wonderful Collie female elegant and very claver. I was with her on police dressure and she was wonderful, outside always without a leash on most frequent city streets.... Many years later, when me and my family moved to a house with yard, I wished to have my little Collie because now in my age and with my life (I am employed), I don't have time for big dogs. I knew about Sheltie as small Collie and decided to buy a couple. After some time, I realized how lucky I was to buy dogs this rase, how splendid dogs they are! Beautiful and claver, playful dogs with super temper. Buying my first Shelties was easy to decide and hard to do. No breeders were in Serbia, beside one old man! At the end, I bought from this man his last Sheltie couple - Bona Fortuna Blue Stony River and Leonardo Da Vinci Blue Stony River. Bona was mated with Leonardo at the same day when I went to take them. Unfortunatelly I got Leonardo hurt in genital region, spent a lot of time and money with my vet.... Leonardo was hurt with man's leg... Very hurt... So my first Sheltie litter was Leonardo's last, he became sterile because of being hurt so badly... Leonardo lived his life in our kennel and died in peace. Maybe I could say he became sterile luckily for me, because I had to use other males abroad and they were Russian breeded dogs with excellent pedigrees.

Now I am still the only one Sheltie breeder in Serbia. Sheltie was quite unknown raze here but we are going on shows much and with first winnings in I FCI group they became more known and I hope more popular. Because, these claver and beautiful dogs deserve much more attention. At Serbian Club Dhow of British Sheepdogs Club 28.03.2009. in Jagodina I received Diploma for success in breeding and popularization Shetland Sheepdogs in Serbia. Thanks to a Club for giving attention to my work.
